Our Faculty Advisor
Professor Aaron Tenenbein is a Professor of Statistics and is both the Faculty Director of the Executive MBA Program and Director of the Actuarial Science Program at New York University Stern School of Business. Professor Tenenbein teaches Mathematics of Investment, Statistics and Data Analysis, and Life Contingencies for undergraduate and graduate students matriculated at NYU. He is very welcoming of students interested in pursuing an actuarial career path, and is happy to answer questions and offer insight about the actuarial world.

I graduated with a double concentration in Actuarial Science and Operations Management with a minor in BEMT. I'm from LA but really from Korea but New York is home now. I was an intern in the valuation department at Guardian Life Insurance this past summer. In my spare time I like to eat cheese and drink iced coffee and look at pictures of giraffes.

I graduated in January 2017, and am going into life actuarial consulting. I've been a member of Actuarial Society since day 1 of college, and I am very enthusiastic about mentoring actuarial students. I have a degree in Mathematics in CAS. I am originally from Iowa City and went to the University of Minnesota for two years before transferring over to NYU. I love the city and plan to stay here for a very long time. I enjoy playing basketball, photography and interesting food!

I graduated with a double concentration in Actuarial Science and Information Systems. I will be going into property and casualty actuarial consulting after graduation. I'm originally from Singapore but I've grown to love New York. I love exploring the city for good places to eat and playing tennis. I'm also a strong believer that a pour-over is the best way to imbibe our favorite drink, the coffee.
